Urban Survival: Zombie Outbreak Cincinnati

September 25th, 2012 No comments

Is it better to be unprepared for the expected, or prepared for the unexpected? As cities around the world brace for the end of times, perhaps they should just be making plans. Urban survival is as much about knowing your terrain as it is knowing your enemy. Where will you run when hordes of the undead attack? How will you communicate when smart phones become as dead as your antagonist? More importantly, what IS Cincinnati chili made of exactly, and is it enough to help sustain life?

All of these questions and more will be address in Urban Survival: Zombie Outbreak Cincinnati, where we explore the design of a city with extreme prejudice.

When: Oct. 9th 7:30pm

Where: Hive13 (2929 SpringGrove Ave)

Speaker: Giacomo Ciminello

September 7th, 2012 No comments

Sorry for the short notice, but Cinci2600 is on for tonight.

Craig will be demoing some of his navigation system hax as a preview to the launch of the Open Vehicle Research Lab at Hive13.

We will also be discussing how to better organize Cinci2600 so there are fewer months that go by without meetings.

As always, the Hive will be open to the public, so feel free to come by and check it out!
